The founder’s Journey

In 2010, while living in Singapore, Christine’s life changed through family trips to Japan. She discovered not only the taste of matcha but the philosophy behind the tea ceremony rooted in tradition, intention, and mindfulness.

Returning to France, Christine founded MIIYUU to share this vision “Me and Matcha (MII) to you (YUU)” inspired by the Japanese name MIYU, embodying the same grace that first captured Christine’s heart in Japan.

Guided by tea ceremony traditions, MIIYUU partners directly with family-owned farms that have been cultivating tea for generations across Japan, from Kyoto to Fukuoka. We offer three carefully selected, premium matcha varieties for every lifestyle: traditional ceremony, modern lattes, and creative everyday recipes.
